INDIAN PLUMBING ASSOCIATION HOSTS 15TH INDIAN PLUMBING CONFERENCE

Indian Plumbing Association (IPA) and Akar InfoMedia Pvt. Ltd. (AIM) recently organized 15th Indian Plumbing Conference (IPC) in New Delhi on November 18th & 19th, 2011. Central theme for this event was ‘Standardisation of Plumbing Practices’, which was deliberated by some of the most enlightened plumbing professionals, from all over India and abroad.

Mr. GP Russ Chaney, Chairman of the World Plumbing Council was the Chief Guest, whereas Mr. Sudhakaran Nair, Deputy Chairman of WPC & President-IPA was the host to this highly successful national plumbing convention. This Conference was attended by close to 850 delegates from across the country, who shared their knowledge, experience and exposure with the fellow professionals and made this national convention, a platform for exchange of ideas, interaction and networking.

In accord with the theme, the conference had five Technical Sessions, in which, industry-experts shared their knowledge on vital subjects, like Standardisation of Plumbing Practices; Plumbing Services in Hospitality & Health Care Sector; Water Conservation & Ministry of Environment & Forests Guidelines; and Fire Protection in High-Rise Buildings. A very interesting and interactive Panel Discussion on - Plumbing Contract Administration proved to be a very interactive session on techno-legal aspects of plumbing contracts.

15th IPC also had a parallel exhibition, spreading over an area of 25,000 sq. ft. to exhibit a wide range of plumbing products. It was a huge success, as close to 100 exhibitors displayed latest technology and innovations with live product demonstrations for the benefit of delegates and trade visitors.

With such a brilliant mix of deliberation and demonstration, 15th Indian Plumbing Conference became one more successful meeting-place and thereby, added one more feather in the cap of Indian Plumbing Association!
