A MESSAGE FROM THE UK WATER AND SANITATION MINISTER

Following a recent meeting between WPC Chairman Robert Burgon, Executive Board Member Blane Judd and Mike Foster MP, Minister for International Development in the UK Department for International Development (with responsibility for water and sanitation issues), the Minister has contributed the following message to the World Plumbing Council.

 

NEW EXECUTIVE BOARD MEMBER ELECTED

Richard Prospal (USA) has been elected to fill a vacancy on the WPC Executive Board after a postal ballot among Full Members. Mr Prospal is currently International President of the American Society of Sanitary Engineering and operates a mechanical/plumbing consulting business in Cleveland, Ohio.

 

WPC HONOURS FORMER VICE-CHAIRMAN

Michael von Bock und Polach, a Vice-Chairman of the WPC from 1999-2002, is due to retire from his position as Director-General of the German contractor organisation ZVSHK in July 2009 after 32 years’ of service to the organisation.

Representatives from 9 countries attended a meeting of the World Plumbing Council held in Association with the ISH trade fair in Frankfurt
