Today, RIDGID is a registered contractor of Architectural Services Department, Water Supplies Department and Construction Industry Council. We are also a registered plumbing company of the Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering in United Kingdom and an Affiliate member of World Plumbing Council. We are also certified with the ISO 9001:2015, ISO14001:2015 and ISO45001:2018 standards.

Since 2006, ABRINSTAL has carried out projects involving technical studies, planning, strategic evaluations and dissemination of information, linked to the compliance and efficiency of building facilities, seeking to support decision-making processes, formulation and implementation of public policies, and companies.

The CIPHE has a membership of over 7,200 including individuals from a wide range of backgrounds such as consultants, specifiers, designers, public health engineers, lecturers, trainers, trainees and practitioners. There are 170 manufacturers and distributors (Industrial Associates), which support CIPHE’s. Whilst the majority of members live in the UK, some 1,000 are resident in Hong Kong and a further 300 are resident in over 30 other countries. The Institute provides public benefit by raising awareness of plumbing and heating issues such as Legionnaires’ disease, hot water scalding, water efficiency and promotes a register of competent individuals established in 1886.

Each individual member has to abide by a six point Code of Professional Standards which helps to uphold high standards to protect public health and safety.  To further protect the public, the CIPHE has a complaints procedure, which is overseen by the Registration Authority.

The CIPHE is a member of the Construction Industry Council – www.cic.org.uk – and a licensed member of the Engineering Council (UK) – www.engc.org.uk

It represents and defends the interests of its members: 45 local associations and 20.000 installers which employ more than 100,000 people.
